HERB & MEDICINAL PLANT WALK
Dallas Arboretum
Dallas, TX
Saturday, 9am - 11am

Could the lowly parsley be a valuable medicinal plant? Why is yarrow called "bad man's plaything"? Where does gingko extract come from? Join clinical aromatherapist Katharine Koeppen, RA, on a walking tour of the Arboretum gardens and discover what aromatic and herbal treasures lie within... including plants that deserve a second look. We'll stroll through the gardens and experience many healing plants firsthand, exploring traditional and contemporary plant lore, as well as specific use in aromatherapy, herbalism and flower essences. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring bottled water. For information and registration, please contact the Arboretum at 214.515.6540 or www.dallasarboretum.org.
