I don't know what's been going on lately, but my acquaintances who are very metaphysically inclined tell me that planetary energies are rapidly shifting through the end of the year, and this is causing fuzzy thinking for many people. In any event, I've been really spacey! It's not just me... during the past two weeks I've gotten numerous requests for blends to help clients with mental focus. Here's a simple one to help lift brain fog and promote concentration:

Mental Focus Blend
1/2 oz.      apricot kernel oil
25 drops    St. John's wort infused herbal oil
6 drops     lavender essential oil
6 drops     basil ct. methyl chavicol essential oil

Apply daily to temples, tops of shoulders, upper chest and back of neck. Use very sparingly; can be reapplied during the day as necessary.

Sans carrier oils, the lavender and basil can also be diffused into your environment to perk up your ability to focus on the tasks at hand. If you are using a good quality nebulizing diffuser, just 15-20 minutes of diffusion will help sharpen your thinking.
